§ 01 · The story

We started small. We stayed small.

ThemeSupport started in 2016 in Utah, with three clients and a single repo. We weren’t trying to build the next agency — we were trying to do WordPress well for a small list of people who needed it done.

Years later, that’s still the plan. We’ve grown — multiple engineers, hundreds of projects, dozens of agency partners in several countries — but we’ve never gone after scale for its own sake. We turn down work that isn’t a fit. We don’t chase trends. We pick proven, well-documented tools and ship them quietly.

About half our work is for businesses, like you see on the homepage — small to large companies, marketing teams, founders who want a WordPress site they don’t have to think about. The other half is white-label, behind the scenes of agencies who don’t want to hire engineers in-house.

The shorter version: We do WordPress for you. Hosting, development, maintenance, support, SEO. Quietly, dependably, since 2016.

We work in your repo, on your stack, with no in-house platform layer. You can sack us tomorrow and pick up with anyone else.

No tricks, no penalties

Especially in SEO. We earn rankings the slow, durable way. We’ve never had a client penalized — ten years running.

Tell you when we can’t help

If we’re wrong for the job, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere good. Bad-fit clients churn anyway — better to skip the unhappiness.

We hire engineers, not account managers. Everyone you’ll email writes code.

We don’t make a brand of it. But a portion of every invoice goes to a small set of causes we’ve picked over the years.
